Chelsea Renfro, PharmD, CHSE is the Research and Engagement Pharmacist with Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy's Health Outcomes and Research. She facilitates external stakeholder engagement and collaboration discussions for outcomes research as well as works with clinical pharmacists to create and execute of specialty pharmacy outcomes research studies. Dr. Renfro engages a diverse team with specialties in clinical practice, operations, iresearch, and trade relations with the goal of demonstrating the health system specialty pharmacists' value through research and quality improvement. Dr. Renfro holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from East Tennesee State University Gatton College of Pharmacy. She then went to complete a PGY1 ambulatory care focused residency with Community Care of North Carolina and University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy and a community pharmacy research fellowship through University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Prior to her current role, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy.
