Dr. Lacknauth currently acts as the Executive Director of Pharmacy Services at Broward Health responsible for the strategic direction, financial and clinical outcomes, marketing and program refinement with oversight and integration of 5 acute care hospitals and 10 outpatient clinics providing access to the under insured.
Dr. Lacknauth is an elected officer serving on the Executive Committee for the Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (FSHP). At a national level, he serves on the multihospital leadership committee for the American Society of Health System Pharmacist. Dr. Lacknauth’s most recent appointment is an Executive Board Member for the Pharmacy Technician Certificate Board.
Dr. Lacknauth has more than 19 years of pharmacy and executive experience. Experiences include acute care, home infusion, ambulatory care, accountable care modeling, managed care, 340B, retail and specialty pharmacy,
Dr. Lacknauth received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University where he was recently recognized as being a Distinguished Alumni for career achievement. In addition, he has completed two master’s degree programs in business administration and pharmacy policies and outcomes respectively.
• Analyzed and restructured the 340B program across the safety net system. New structure was built to improve access and population health goals.
• Analyzed medication cost and benefits on health system formulary for medication value and use.
• Regular evaluation of state and federal laws for optimization of medication use. Drug manufacturers, HRSA, State rules, and PBM organizations are
playing a major role in the direction of the delivery of care.
